"Earth Angel" Eden Blair

"I know" she's thinking. "I don't know what's up with the braid either."

The Blair twins are one of my favorites to collect, I think they're gorgeous as you can clearly see above. They always have that dreamy look on their faces like they're just falling in love for the first time.

Looking back over their past catalog, generally speaking when one twin comes out, there will be a corresponding twin that comes out later to go with her. This Eden's corresponding twin came out before her and she was called "Nu Classic" Lilith Blair. You can find my post about her on this very blog.

She was so darling with the pig tails...

"Earth Angel" is actually a song from the '50's I think, kind of a doo-wopp-y sort of tune, a boy begging for a girl's love with his heart on his sleeve. The kind of feelings I can only imagine Miss Eden would inspire in the heart of every person she sees in this incarnation.

"No is not a word I hear a lot..."

She has a nice set of jewelry, 2 rings, a gold chain bracelet and a silver chain bracelet, a big pair of golden sunglasses to match her sister's beige pair, and a pretty glass heart necklace that I cannot negotiate the s-hook and tiny circle closure on right now because I am currently ending a relationship with some acrylic nails.

Imagine this around Eden's neck, it really looks great.

Score another point to the accessories, they have beaten me yet again. The war continues.

Sunglasses I can handle, most of the time.

Since I first saw her, I've loved this doll's jeans. They look like the flares (that's what we called 'em in the late '90's) my roommate in college and I wore all about town when we were desperately thin and gorgeous. I think they look like a real woman's body from the front, a starving woman from the side, but there is actually a tiny bump there where a butt should be, I have real photographic evidence.

There it is!

The top is very flourish-y and the wee fabric bra is surrounded by very large pink ruffles. It makes me wonder how pretty it would be if the ruffles weren't so overwhelmingly big, I think I might like it a lot better. But wait, now I get it! Angels have wings!!!

I'm just ready to fly on outta here.

Well this angel has great abs and may I suggest great confidence to be walking around downtown in jeans and an exposed midriff with diamond studded heels?

It's a way to have diamonds on your feet and still let your toes breathe... Those are diamonds, right?

But she's supposed to be the good one, right? And Lilith, the other twin, is supposed to be the bad twin. Somehow, I always seem to like Lilith better when I see them together, but I really love this Eden because she kind of looks like a hippie girl to me. She's got bellbottoms and long hair, sandals and sunglasses. She's not all dressed up and going to the company event. And I guess I'm kind of a sandals and sunglasses girl too.
